Mid-Season Auditions for William Baker Festival Singers are presently being held for rehearsals beginning in January. The William Baker Festival Singers has openings in all voice parts. William Baker Festival Singers specializes in short-form a cappella sacred classics and spirituals in addition to performing Master Works with professional orchestra and distinguished soloists.
William Baker Festival Singers are presently preparing for Convocation to celebrate 25 years of service to the community. The concert will be held on February 21 in Atlanta will feature other ensembles of the Choral Foundation. The Festival Singers will also present an All Mozart Celebration in March. The Festival Singers will also present J S Bach’s The Passion of Our Lord According to St. John in May. Rehearsals are held on Sunday evenings at Grace United Methodist Church in Midtown Atlanta. 25th Anniversary Gala Event

William Baker Festival Singers will be celebrating it’s 25^th anniversary in a gala event to be held on Sunday, February 21 at 4:00pm at Grace United Methodist Church in Midtown Atlanta. The event known as Convocation will bring seven ensembles of the Choral Foundation together in one grand performance.

The performance will include pieces from the Festival Singers tradition including five mass choir selections performed by combined choirs and alumnae. The Anniversary ticket price for all seats is $10, children under 12 are admitted free.

Ensembles will include William Baker Festival Singers of Atlanta and Kansas City, Northside Young Singers Concert and Training Choirs, Northside Festival Singers, Cobb Festival Singers and the Columbus Chamber Singers.

A Proclamation in celebration of the founding of the organization in 1985 will be presented at the concert. The proclamation written by Congressman Phil Gingrey honors The Gwinnett Festival Singers and The William Baker Festival Singers for their twenty five years of service to the southeast.
