Columbus Chamber Singers
The Columbus Chamber Singers is a mixed youth choir in Columbus, Georgia for talented young choral musicians in high school and early college. The Chamber Singers rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:00 PM at Pierce Chapel in Columbus. This ensemble studies a variety of repertoire, specializing in short-form a cappella works. The director is Matt White.
AUDITION PROCESS
The audition is a thorough evaluation of both voice and musical skill. The process is similar to the Georgia All-State Chorus first audition. The audition will include singing the major/minor/chromatic scales, a short sight-singing example, tonal memory, and a short solo, performed a cappella.
