Our 31st Concert Season
The Lynn Swanson Festival Singers was founded in 1985 as Gwinnett Festival Singers, and was known as the William Baker Festival Singers from 1998 to 2015. With the appointment of Lynn Swanson, MME, as Music Director & Conductor, and with the enfolding of the former LSFS ensemble, Atlanta’s beloved a cappella chorale begins it fourth decade as The Lynn Swanson Festival Singers.
The 60-voice chorale has toured across the Southeast and Great Britain, including performances in Canterbury Cathedral, the Bristol International Music Festival, the DeKalb Choral Festival, and in venues such as Cannon Chapel, Spivey Hall, and Divinity Chapel. The Festival Singers have performed annual concerts before capacity audiences at Charleston’s Piccolo Spoleto Festival annually since 1989.
