Bon Voyage Concert – May 19

The 2nd Bon Voyage Concert of the William Baker Festival Singers of Atlanta will be held on Sunday, May 19th at 3:00 pm.  The performance will be at their rehearsal home of Grace United Methodist Church, located at 458 Ponce de Leon Avenue in Atlanta, GA.  Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors and children under 12 are admitted free.

 

Bon Voyage Concert – May 18

The William Baker Festival Singers of Atlanta host their first of two Bon Voyage Concert on Saturday, May 18 at 7:00 pm.  The performance will be held at St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church located at 2160 Cooper Lake in Smyrna, GA.  Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and as always children under 12 are admitted free.

 

15th Season Home Concert – May 10th

The William Baker Festival Singers of Kansas City will host their 15th Season Home Concert on Friday, May 10th at 8:00 pm.  The performance will be held at the historic and beautiful Grace and Holy Trinity Church located at 415 W 13th Street in downtown Kansas City, MO.  Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and children under 12 are admitted free.

 

Piccolo Spoleto Bon Voyage Concert on May 21

The now annual Piccolo Spoleto Bon Voyage Concert for the Lynn Swanson Festival Singers will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 pm.  The concert will be at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, located at 800 Mt. Vernon Highway in Sandy Springs, GA.  This concert is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

 

Season Home Concert – May 5

The Lynn Swanson Festival Singers will hold their Season Home Concert on Sunday, May 5 at 4 pm.  The performance will be at Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, located at 100 W Church Street in Cartersville, GA. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and children under 12 admitted free.

Spring into the Arts – April 20

On Saturday, April 20th at 6-9pm, the Lynn Swanson Festival Singers will join local artists for Spring into the Arts.  The event is hosted at the Elizabeth Tyler house built in 1921 on the National Register of Historic Places by Dr. and Mrs. Boyd Eaton.  Their home is at 2887 Howell Mill Road in Atlanta, GA 30327.  Parking is at Trinity Presbyterian, 3003 Howell Mill Road, NW Atlanta, GA 30327.  Shuttle vans will take you to the house.  All proceeds go to The Lynn Swanson Festival Singers and Path To Shine (www.pathtoshine.org).

Tickets are $40 ($50 after April 14)  includes 2 performances by the Festival Singers, food and wine, and featuring local artists: Mary Selano, Connie Cheek, Kim Meyer and Rachel Oliver. Reservations on-line at  or www.FestivalSingers.org

Benefit Concert on April 14th

The William Baker Festival Singers of Atlanta will be hosting a Benefit Concert for Homeless Charities in the Tri-Cities Area (Hapeville, College Park, and East Point) on Sunday, April 14th at 6:00 pm.  The performance will be held at First United Methodist Church of Hapeville, GA.  The church is located at 3510 Atlanta Avenue in Hapeville, GA.  A freewill offering will be collected.

2013 Summer Singers of Kansas City

The 15th Season of the Summer Singers of Kansas City in 2013 will have chosen two glorious works of Ludwig van Beethoven, the MASS IN C and the CHORAL FANTASY. The orchestra will complete the concert with a performance of Beethoven’s immortal SYMPHONY NO. 7. Rehearsals start on Tuesday, June 4th, 2013, and the concert will be on Sunday afternoon on August 18 at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Broadway at 13th Street in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
