The first season (1985-1986) of the Festival Singers culminated with a performance of the Brahms EIN DEUTSCHES REQUIEM. As William Baker retires as Music Director & Conductor of the WBFS-Atlanta following the 2014-2015 season, it is fitting that his last masterwork performance with the original Festival Singers ensemble be the one that has been such an important part of the ensemble’s history.
