The Black History Month Concert of William Baker Festival Singers of Atlanta will be held on Sunday, February 12th at 4:00 pm. The performance will be at Grace United Methodist Church, located at 458 Ponce de Leon Avenue in Midtown Atlanta. Tickets are $20 adults, $10 for students and seniors, and children under 12 admitted free.

We are currently auditioning interested singers, especially Basses and Tenors, to join us for the second half of the 2011-2012 season which will feature the Black History Month Concert, Ernest Bloch’s SACRED SERVICE in Atlanta and Kansas City, and will culminate in our annual performance at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival. Join the William Baker Festival Singers of Atlanta with organ and brass for the annual celebration of the season at Christmas Atlanta. The performance will be on Sunday, December 4th at 3:00 pm. 27th Annual Season Opening Concert

The 40-voice William Baker Festival Singers of Atlanta open its 27th season on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 8:00 pm with a festive performance of classics, folk hymns, and spirituals, including da Victoria: O Quam Gloriosum, da Viadana: Exultate Justi, Pachelbel: Nun Danket alle Gott, and Stanford: Beati Quorum Via, along with American and Hebrew folk songs and African-American spirituals in settings by Dudley Cohen, Alice Parker, William Dawson and Moses Hogan. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and as always children under 12 years of age are free. Tickets may be purchased at the door or here.
