The 50-voice Kansas City ensemble specializes in short-form a cappella classics and spirituals, along with works or chamber orchestra. Highlights of the 17th season include performances with members of the Kansas City Symphony and the Orchstra of the American Heartland.  featured works are Johnnes Brahms EIN DEUTSCHES REQUIEM, William Dreyfoos SONGS OF THE HOLOCAUST and W. A. Mozart: CORONATION MASS.  The Festival Singers open their season November 8 in the incomparable Helzberg Hall of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
