Niccole Williams, MME is a graduate of Kennesaw State University in Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Vocal Music Education degree with a Minor in Linguistic Studies. At Kennesaw State, she studied voice, organ, piano, and conducting, and she participated in the Kennesaw State Chorale and Women’s Choir. Niccole completed her Master’s of Music Education in Vocal/Choral Pedagogy at the University of Kansas in July 2021. She was appointed a Fellow of the Institute for Healthy Singing and Voice Research in July 2021 and Education Director in March 2024.
Niccole served as Staff Singer and Assistant Children’s Choir Director for the St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church in Smyrna, Georgia. She taught piano at Vinings School of the Arts in Atlanta and voice from her studio in Kennesaw, Georgia. Mrs. Williams has been a member of Choral Foundation ensembles since 2014, including The New South Festival Singers, The William Baker Festival Singers, the Cobb Summer Singers, the Baroque Summer Institute, the Summer Singers of Atlanta and Kansas City, and the Summer Singers of Lee’s Summit. Upon moving to Kansas City, Niccole was appointed Student Intern for the William Baker Festival Singers for the 2018-2019 concert season. Upon arriving in Kansas City, Niccole served three years as the general music and choir teacher for grades K-6 in the Shawnee Mission School district. Following this, she dedicated herself to teaching pre-K-5th grade general music and 6th-8th grade choir at St. Charles Borromeo Academy until the end of the 2023 school year.
Currently based in Liberty, MO, Niccole transitioned to teaching private voice and piano lessons from her private studio in 2023. Her expertise extends beyond the classroom, providing personalized guidance to individuals eager to explore their musical potential. As Education Director for the Institute for Healthy Singing & Voice Research, Niccole works extensively with teachers in Kapkemich, Kenya, to provide music education teacher training and organizes and participates in giving vocal health workshops for schools, church choirs, and more. Niccole is also a staff singer at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lee’s Summit, MO, and enjoys performing solo works whenever opportunities arise.
