Dr. Jeffery Straub joined the The Institute for Healthy Singing & Voice Research in 2023. He is an accomplished ear, nose, and throat physician/surgeon specializing in Laryngology. He has extensive fellowship training encompassing the medical and surgical management of voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. Jeff’s journey into this specialized field was inspired by a unique fusion of medical expertise and a personal passion for vocal performance rooted in his experiences as a singer.

A Kansas City native, Dr. Straub is deeply committed to enhancing the local community's access to subspecialized voice care. In collaboration with the Choral Foundation, he endeavors to provide specialized medical attention and contribute to educational initiatives focused on vocal health. His dedication to elevating the standard of voice care in this community reflects his profound connection to the region.
