Since 1998 The William Baker Festival Singers and musical friends have joined in the candlelight splendor of Kansas City's magnificent cathedrals for performances of beloved Christmas carols and treasured sacred Christmas classics. The 90-minute concert includes traditional carols in traditional forms for the audience to sing with the magnificent pipe organs. The story of Christmas is told in the words of scripture and inspiring choral music. The Festival Singers will be joined by Canon John Schaefer, organist, the new handbell ensemble, Kansas City Bronze, and the Marsh Elementary School Chorus from Shawnee, Kansas, Niccole Winney, Music Educator.
