Music Director Jennifer Lahasky is bringing the MISA CRIOLLA of 20th century Argentinian composer Ariel Ramirez to our Lee's Summit community. The Lee's Summit Summer Singers will be joined by members of the Choral Foundation's Spanish chorus, Voces Festivas, and guest percussion instrumentalists.

The MISA CRIOLLA of Ariel Ramirez is a work that exudes unbounded joy. It features an ensemble of wind and percussion instruments in the tradition of the mountains of Argentina and the exuberance of the Hispanic tradition. The Summer Singers will be joined in performance by Tenor soloist Daniel Baker, a member of the William Baker Festival Singers, and guest instrumentalist, Amado Espinoza, will be playing the charango, a 10 string guitar from South America.
