The 100-voice Summer Singers of Kansas City & Chamber Orchestra will perform their 22nd annual concert. Music Director William Baker will conduct Mozart's VESPERAE SOLENNES DE CONFESSORE (KV 339) with soprano Christine Freeman, alto Erica Seago, tenor David Adams, and bass Ed Frazier Davis. The program will also include a collection of short works led by Dr. Baker and Choral Intern Megan Moore. These will include Irish Folk Songs and Sea Shanty arrangements by Alice Park, and Gospel Spirituals from the African-American tradition.
