The inaugural concert of Vox Venti, a new semi-professional choir dedicated to championing diversity in the choral canon will be held in the beautiful nave of the Wicker Park Lutheran Church. There will be freatured works by Chen Yi, Ed Frazier Davis, Jester Hairston, Gabriel Jackson, Daniel Sabzghabai, and Veljo Tormis, plus Adolpus Hailstork's thrilling I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes, and a new commissioned work from Chicagoan Stacy Garrop.
