The William Baker Festival Singers visit the historic 1902 St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altus, Arkansas. The 50-voice semi-professional chorale will present a pre-service choral prelude beginning at 3:45 PM, and will sing liturgical music and anthems at the 4:00 Vigil Mass on Saturday, October 22. Choral selections will include works by Arkansas native and WBFS Composer in Residence, Dr. Sean Sweeden. Other featured composers include Moses Hogan, Wendell Whalum, F. Melius Christiansen, Egil Hovland, and Alexandre Gretchaninov. The Vigil Mass is a religious service of Christian worship. Everyone is invited and there is no charge.
