The William Baker Festival Singers have a tradition of performing regional concerts in the winter of each year. The 50-voice semi-professional chorale is excited to perform for the first time at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina, Kansas. Our program will include Benjamin Britten's FESTIVAL TE DEUM, Juan de Lienas' CREDIDI, and additional works by Charles wood, Alexander Gretchaninov, Eriks Esenvalds, and Javier Busto, along with the American hymns, spirituals and gospel songs that have made the Festival Singers a regional sensation.
The William Baker Festival Singers will be joined in concert by The Salina Chorale, Bill Tuzicka, Music Director.
The concert is free to the public. A free-will offering will be received to off-set travel expenses for the Festival Singers.
